This advanced chainring is designed to maximize your speed so you can achieve your best potential on the bike.

The Drag2Zero Aero Chainring 50T is made from lightweight and durable aluminum, and the chains are designed for a 1-chainring setup. So if you are used to riding with 2 chains up front and want to change to 1 chainring or you want a larger chainring than your current one, then the D2Z will be a great choice.

This Drag2Zero Aero Chainring 50T allows you to achieve a higher or lower gear ratio. Optimally, we would like to find a gear ratio where the chain sits as much as possible in the middle of the cassette. If your front chainring is too small or too large, it will mean that you have to go into the heavier or lighter gears, which is not as efficient as if you have a larger/smaller chainring and the chain can thus sit in the middle of the cassette for the longest possible time.

Drag2Zero Aero blade 50T comes in 4 different models

Drag2Zero Aero chainring 50T comes in 4 different models depending on which crankset you are riding with:

  • 110 mm BCD 4 holes for all newer Shimano cranksets that have 4 holes.
  • 110mm BCD 5 holes works for various 5 hole cranksets. If the small chainring is 38t or smaller, then it is 110mm BCD such as 52/36T.
  • 110 mm BCD 4 holes for Shimano 12 speed
  • 107 mm BCD 4 holes for Sram AXS 12 speed

This will be the case in the vast majority of cases.

Drag2Zero Aero chainrings also come in 48T, 52T, 54T, 56T, 58T and 60T which you can also find in the shop. If they are not in stock, send us an email and we will get them to you.

Cranksets that D2Z chainrings do not fit

There are a few cranksets where the Drag2Zero chainring is not compatible, these are the following:
