    Shimano Ultegra CS-R8101 12 speed cassette is perfect for training, home trainer and race. R8 101 Ultegra is Shimano's new 12 speed cassette and fits Shimano 12 speed gear groups.

    The Shimano R8101 cassette is produced in quality steel, which provides a very good durability. The locking ring that is included is made of aluminium.

    Shimano Ultegra cassettes are available with two different gearings and Transition Zone offers both, 11-30 and 11-34.

    The Ultegra cassette is probably the most classic and used cassette, as it has a very good durability and performs very well for the price.
    The difference between Ultegra and the models above and below such as 105 (the model below) and Dura Ace (the model above) is roughly weight.

    11-30 weighs around 290 grams and 11-34 weighs around 340 grams.

    As mentioned, the cassette comes with a locking ring and is ready for installation. To mount the cassette, the cassette must be mounted on the rear hub, the locking ring must be placed on the outside of the cassette and then tightened with a key/trigger.
