Transition Zone – From idea to reality
In 2021, a thought occurred to Bo Strandmark that he simply could not let go of: a dream of creating a store where the best products on the market are gathered under one roof.
Bo's idea started as a wish, but quickly turned into something much bigger when he and his partner Daniel decided to make the dream a reality. Transition Zone was born.
We dream of becoming Denmark's leading triathlon retailer.
The vision for Transition Zone is about more than triathlon. We want to inspire and accommodate swimmers, cyclists and runners of all levels – from those just putting on their sportswear for the first time, to elite athletes chasing every marginal advantage.
We make a point of offering a wide range of carefully selected products, so you always have more options to choose from.
Quality and functionality without compromise
Both Bo and Daniel have practiced triathlon and cycling at a high level for over a decade, participated in countless competitions and qualified for the Ironman World Championships in Hawaii.
We know how important it is to have the right equipment. That's why we've created a store with products we use ourselves and can vouch for. Everything is thoroughly tested and approved by us - only the best finds its way to the shelves in Transition Zone.
New Showroom in Aarhus – A gathering point for passion
In 2023, another goal became a reality with the opening of our showroom at Balticagade 19 in Aarhus C. This is more than just a storefront; it is a place where knowledge, expertise and passion come together, and where cycling enthusiasts can find both inspiration and community. We have created a base where you can experience our equipment up close, get personal advice and find products that not only meet expectations – they exceed them.

AARC
Aarhus Running Club – A community for passionate runners
In 2024, we took another step to strengthen the community and create a place for runners with the establishment of Aarhus Running Club (AARC).
AARC is a club where running training and teamwork are at the center, and where both beginners and experienced runners can train, improve and find motivation in a social environment.
We meet every Saturday morning at 8:30 for training, where we offer structured training, guidance and a place where everyone can challenge and develop, regardless of level.
Transition Zone says no thanks to plastic
We do our best to minimize plastic in our shipping process, and therefore only use paper or recycled plastic to send packages.
