Scope Cycling – innovation and precision from the Netherlands

Scope Cycling is a Dutch brand that has established itself as a serious player in the high-end bicycle wheel market in just a few years. With an uncompromising approach to innovation, technology and aerodynamics, Scope has managed to develop wheelsets that deliver exceptional performance – both for competition and training. The company has a strong focus on research and development and collaborates with leading engineers and riders to create wheels that combine low weight, high stiffness and excellent durability.

We have the popular Scope S5 Carbon wheelset, designed for road cycling and triathlon. It's a perfect balance of aerodynamics, comfort and efficiency - and it's a wheelset that gives you great value for money when compared to competitors like Zipp, DT Swiss and Fast Forward.

Scope S5 Carbon – aerodynamics and stability in perfect harmony

The Scope S5 Carbon wheelset is designed with a focus on all-round performance with aerodynamic benefits. The 55mm deep rim profile makes the wheel ideal for both flat routes and hilly terrain, where it can deliver both high speed and efficient response on climbs. The wheelset is tubeless-ready, which allows you to ride with lower tire pressures, thus achieving both lower rolling resistance and increased comfort.

Scope has used advanced CFD analysis and wind tunnel testing in the development of the S5 series. The result is a wheel that is optimized to handle crosswinds and reduce turbulence around the rim. This gives you a more stable riding experience – even in windy conditions. The rim width is 30 mm externally and 21 mm internally, making it compatible with modern, wider tires and ensuring optimal aerodynamic integration.

Technology and details – why Scope stands out

Scope manufactures all their wheels with their own molds and uses High Modulus Carbon in the construction, which reduces weight and increases stiffness. The hubs in the Scope S5 series are developed in-house and use Scope Road Hubs with DT Swiss ratchet system and sealed industrial bearings, ensuring long life and minimal maintenance.

One of Scope's unique features is their Local Reinforcement Technology (LRT), where the rim material is specifically reinforced around the spokes to reduce weight without compromising durability. The result is a wheelset with low rotational weight and impressive power transfer, making it ideal for both acceleration and long periods of high-speed riding.

Additionally, Scope works with a sustainable approach to production and logistics, and all wheels undergo strict quality checks before shipping. So you don't just get a fast wheelset – you also get a reliable product that's built to last.

Scope S5 Carbon – the obvious choice for serious riders

Whether you're a recreational runner, training for a triathlon, or just love the feeling of speed, the Scope S5 Carbon will give you a significant upgrade. With its aerodynamic profile and light weight, you get a wheelset that feels both fast and responsive. At the same time, comfort is top-notch, especially when combined with tubeless tires in 25–28 mm width.

Scope S5 is a versatile solution that covers the needs of both training and competition. It is a wheelset that is designed to deliver performance in the real world – not just in the lab. That is why many riders choose Scope as an affordable alternative to more expensive brands, without compromising on performance and durability.
