Saucony Guide 17 - Running shoes with good stability

Saucony's new Guide 17 is their volume shoe with stability and support.
They have generally moved away from the classic pronation "wedge" you had on the inside of the shoe years ago, to focus on a wider base and more support all around the foot. The wide base/platform is also what Saucony calls their Center Path technology.
The above as well as several innovations make this Guide 17 a fantastic, comfortable, well-suspended and stable volume running shoe with really good support.

The wider sole base embraces the foot from below and is combined with an asymmetric sole design that guides the foot through the entire course of the foot, which helps to slow down the rate of pronation - Hence the name Guide.

The heel-to-toe drop is adjusted down from 8 mm in the previous Guide 16 to 6 mm in the new Guide 17, which contributes to a well-balanced and stable shoe.

In addition, the optimized PWRRUN midsole is combined with a PWRRUN+ insole that guarantees incredible shock absorption and relief.
